TUESDAY 06TH NOVEMBER 2007
7:55-PM-(UTC/GMT -6 hours)
Listening - "LORD OF LORDS"-Hillsong
Saviour King

"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight. Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine and champions at mixing drinks, who acquit the guilty for a bribe, but deny justice to the innocent."

-- ISAIAH 05 : 20 - 23

"Lord Of Lords"

Hillsong
Beholding Your beauty is all I long for
To worship You JESUS is my soul's desire
For this very heart You've shaped for Your pleasure
The purpose to lift Your name high

Hear and surrender in pure adoration
I enter Your courts with an offering of praise
I am Your servant come to bring you glory
As is fit for the work of Your hands

Now unto The Lamb who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
All of creation resounds with the song
Worship and praise Him the Lord of Lords

Spirit now living and dwelling within me
Keep my eyes fixed ever on JESUS' face
Let not the things of this world ever sway me
I'll run 'till I finish the race

Singing unto The Lamb who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
All of creation resounds with the song
Worship and praise The Lord

Now unto The Lamb who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
All of eternity echoes the song
Worship and praise him the Lord of Lords

Holy LORD
You are Holy
JESUS CHRIST is the Lord

Singing holy LORD
You are Holy
JESUS CHRIST is the Lord

Now unto The Lamb who sits on the throne
Be glory and honor and praise
Call all the saints to join in the song
Worship and praise Him the Lord of Lords

Lord of Lords
Lord of Lords
Lord of Lords
Peace be with you always. And may GOD continue to bless you.

SUNDAY 04TH NOVEMBER 2007
8:15-AM-(UTC/GMT -6 hours)
Listening - "MIRACLE OF THE MOMENT"-STEVEN CURTIS chapman
This Moment

"But GOD drags away the mighty by His power; though they become established, they have no assurance of life. He may let them rest in a feeling of security, but His eyes are on their ways. For a little while they are exalted, and then they are gone; they are brought low and gathered up like all others; they are cut off like heads of grain."

-- JOB 24 : 22 - 24

"ADRI, ...
... you're a year older. Hooray! Ha! I know you'reb simply thrilled. It's a shame we haven't done anything since I've been back but things haven't exactly been low-key around here. And I know you've been busy with this that and the other. Hopefully you'll have time to take some time out to celebrate you. I'm sure ANDI and the rest of your family won't let you just sit around not making a big deal of the day. You're definitely worth a big deal!

How're the wedding plans coming along? Ha! I know you love thinking about all the details and what still is yet to come. Of course it'll be great, but stress just a little, it's your job as a bride-to-be. Well okay, relax a little bit, it's your birthday after all. But you have excellent judgement and I have a feeling you and your hubby will be a great pair. I wish you both nothing but the best. *squeeze* Happy birthday!"
Peace be with you always. And may GOD continue to bless you.

SATURDAY 03RD NOVEMBER 2007
9:54-PM-(UTC/GMT -6 hours)
Listening - "JUST A LITTLE"-LEIGH nash
Blue On Blue

"In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind."

-- JOB 12 : 10

So since I've been here at Value Place I've been watching television. I don't own one (01), and haven't lived with a set since leaving home in 2000. But now since it's there, I've developed the habit of just turning it on. Of course there are only two (02) things I watch, one (01) being Philadelphia Eagles' football and "The Unit" on CBS. And because I'm just about as lazy as anyone else, I have the habit of turning to television on to watch nothing particular. As a result I've had the "pleasure" of seeing the kind of programming I've missed in the past seven (07) years and few months I've been without a television set to call my very own. Yup, reality television is in full effect.

I don't know why but whenever I'm rolling through the channels and see "America's Next Top Model" I feel compelled to stay put and watch a little. Don't ask me why, it's just mesmerizing for some reason or another. However, that's about it for me as far as reality television goes. There are a couple of survival programs which I enjoy. I do prefer "Survivorman" over "Man vs. Wild" however. I think it's because LES stroud is just a lot more entertaining and "everymanish" than BEAR grylls. LES is the real deal and he's not a bad camera man.

On the opposite end of the spectrum are reality televisions I simply think are absolutely ridiculous. I think the worst would two (02) would have to be a couple of reality shows revolving around two (02) "celebrities" searching for love. And though "I Love New York 2" is pretty absurd, the fact that TILA tequila's "A Shot at Love" has her pitting sixteen (16) men and sixteen (16) women in various competitions to win her affection, takes the cake. Yup, a bisexual searching for true love with whichever sex she decides she belongs with in the end. Crazy! But I suppose these kinds of shows will always have just enough of a following because a little part of everyone is interested in other's love life and their pursuit of it to some degree or another. In the end though, it's pretty absurd and meaningless. Do I care who they end up with? Nope, not really. Correction: Not at all. I have a difficult enough time worrying about and managing my own reality, without tuning in regularly to view someone else's. There are other shows which aren't interesting to me; so I've pretty much come to the conclusion that I haven't been missing much by not owning a television. I may get one (01) once I find a place to live around here, but since I don't have anything in the way of furniture or anything else I'll need in my own space, it's not going to be number one (01) on my list.

Of course I love all the Discovery Channels, Food Network, HGTV, the Military channel, and a few others. But until consumers will totally be able to tailor-make satellite and cable packages, I doubt I'll be ver interested in television. I've had to keep up with more than a few Eagle's games on NFL.com and I'm able to catch "The Unit" online as well. And since I waste far too much time in front of my computer, I don't need another screen to stare at for hours. I suppose when I'm well off and have my own place, I'll have a couple of televisions for company. Or well, maybe not. No screen would be just as much of a conversation starter than a seventy-two (72) inch screen. And well, when the Super bowl rolls around I'll be fortunate enough to not have to host the party which results in ground chips in my carpet and moisture rings on my glass coffee table.

Peace be with you always. And may GOD continue to bless you.

FRIDAY 02ND NOVEMBER 2007
8:00-PM-(UTC/GMT -6 hours)
Listening - "SUNRISE"-NICHOLE nordeman
Recollection: The Best of NICHOLE Nordeman

"Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it."

-- Psalm 34 : 14

"BONITA, ...
... it's your birthday! But I guess I don't have to tell you that huh? How are you on your very special day little sister? It's been far too long. Far too long. A year? More? At least a year because we hadn't caught up a bit while I was in Korea for a second year. I think about you often and hope you're doing very well. How's DAD? You're not driving him up the wall are you?

And BILLY? Are you two (02) husband and wife yet? I trust both the men in your life are going to spoil you absolutely rotten today. But I'm sure it's no different than any other day since you're such a prima donna. Ha! Email me sometime or instant message; you know how often I'm "connected". I miss you. Happy birthday little sister. It's been a pleasure to be your friend as you have grown and matured so much; you're a wonderful, bright, and beautiful young lady, ... don't ever forget that and don't ever believe anyone who tries to convince you otherwise. Again, happy birthday BONITA!"
Peace be with you always. And may GOD continue to bless you.
